Matteo Dal Toso studied in Conservatorio “A. Pedrollo”, Vicenza, Italy where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in bassoon and master’s degree in piano accompaniment. Thanks to the Erasmus+ Program, he attended for six months the “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst” in Stuttgart, taking part in opera productions in an international environment. In 2014, he founded, along with two colleagues, “Ensemble Neuma”, a chamber ensemble where he performs as bassoonist and pianist and creates new repertoire by writing arrangements and original compositions. Some of his works are published by Eufonia. He works as a piano accompanist joining in chamber concerts in Italy and in Europe, and cooperates with Conservatorio “A. Pedrollo” in Vicenza, Italy and Conservatorio “B. Marcello” in Venice, Italy providing coaching and piano accompaniment for students’ recitals, exams and concerts.
