A Festival on the Danube

Dear Choral Colleagues,

I hope you and your singers will consider participating in a very special international event in June 2020. I am returning to one of my favorite cities in the world, Vienna, Austria, where I taught choral music for four years many years ago, to conduct a Festival on the Danube.

You will have the opportunity to perform Fauré's Requiem in a beautiful concert venue with orchestra and have time to see all the historic sites that this incredible Imperial City has to offer. Attend a performance at the Stattsoper, Concerthaus or the Musikverein. Go shopping downtown on the Kärtnerstraße or go out to eat in the 19th district in the vineyards. See the music instrument collection in the Hofburg or the stunning botanical gardens at Schönnbrun Palace, the summer residence of the Hapsburg Emperor. Varna International, who I have toured with my choirs, will organize the tour. They are known for their reasonable costs and outstanding customer service.

I am very excited that we will also travel by boat down the Danube to another incredible city, Budapest. Choirs that participate in the festival will also have the opportunity to be a featured ensemble performing some of their own repertoire in these beautiful venues.

I hope you will consider joining me in performance and share this once in a lifetime experience in Vienna and Budapest.

Kindest regards,

Dr. Edith Copley
