Andrew T. Pham is a collaborative pianist semi-based in Oregon, but his work in opera has recently taken him many places throughout the U.S. Recent engagements include rehearsal piano for various opera productions for Nashville Opera, Opera Tampa, Opera Orlando, Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Pensacola Opera, and Indianapolis Opera. In 2023, he performed in the world premiere of Nashville Opera's production of Stuck Elevator by composer Byron Au Yong. Additionally, he also has credits as a chorus master for Opera Orlando's productions of the Magic Flute and Rigoletto in 2022. In Oregon, Andrew's involvement in opera includes past engagements with Cascadia Chamber Opera, Bend Opera, Eugene Opera, and the University of Oregon Opera Ensemble. He has also played for notable organizations such as the Oregon Mozart Players, Oregon Bach Festival, Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan, and Accademia Vocale Lorenzo Malfatti in Lucca, Italy. Andrew received his degrees from the University of Oregon (M.M. Collaborative Piano), Indiana University (M.M. Piano Performance), and James Madison University (B.M. Piano Performance/Composition).
