Born in Catania, Sicily, Connor grew up in Florida. He began playing trumpet in middle school band, and in high school studied with the Principal Trumpet of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Hunter Eberly. Connor went on to receive degrees in Music Education '18 from Florida State University, Master of Music '21 and Master of Musical Arts '22 from Yale School of Music. This past year, Connor served as the Morse Post Graduate Fellow for the Yale Music in Schools Initiative. Connor has performed in Carnegie Hall and is a member of Amo Brass Quintet.
