Pianist Jamila Hla Shwe graduated from the Prague Conservatory of Music and University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she served as staff pianist and instructor. She has worked as rehearsal pianist, coach, continuo player and chorus master at The State Opera Prague, The Czech National Opera Theatre, Opera Mozart, Anchorage Opera, Opera Fairbanks, Juneau Lyric Opera, Orpheus Project, Pacific Northwest Opera and Teatro Lirico d'Europa.
