Jessica Pelltier is currently the Flute Professor at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is also studying at University of South Carolina to receive her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Flute Performance, estimated graduation August 2025.

In 2019, Jessica created her very own flute studio, the Positive Playing Studio, where she teaches students of all ages “advanced performance through positive practice.” Her nationally ranked studio has performed at the Carolina Opry, has been seen “flute caroling” throughout their community on WMBF News Station (2021, 2024), and has been recently selected to perform at the National Flute Association Convention in August of 2025. Her students are at the heart of her professional and personal dedication.

Jessica recently performs with Warner Brothers Studio in the Eastman Scoring Stage Studios as a studio musician. She plays locally in the Long Bay Symphony, Florence Symphony, Opera Wilmington, and gigs locally in the South Carolina area. Alongside her teaching, performing, and studying, Jessica is the Sales Director, Marching Band Division for Fluterscooter under the incredible entrepreneur, Andrea Fisher.

Jessica graduated with a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance and Orchestral Conducting at the University of Louisville. She also has a Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance at Ohio Northern University. Her teachers include Dr. Jennifer Parker-Harley, Kathy Karr, and Dr. Erin Torres. In her free time, she cuddles her three cats Nala, Eevee, and Ekko and makes electronic music with her husband Tim, who plays trumpet.
