Juan Andrés Baquero is a Colombian pianist and collaborative artist currently based in Florida. He recently earned his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University and will continue his studies at Florida State University in a master’s program focused on collaborative piano. As both a soloist and accompanist, he has performed across the United States and Latin America, earning awards in several international piano competitions, including Third Prize in the 2024 MTNA Stecher & Horowitz Two Piano Competition. His collaborative work includes opera productions such as Carmen, The Ghosts of Versailles, Turandot, and Dido and Aeneas, as well as scenes from Don Giovanni and Otello. His work spans solo piano repertoire, chamber music, vocal collaboration, and opera coaching/accompanying
