Laury Christie was a longtime Professor of Voice at the USC School of Music where in addition to teaching and maintaining an active performing life, she was also certified to teach the Alexander Technique. She developed the first course in the State of South Carolina, which was integrated into a major southern university curriculum. Her background also includes years of professional performing on the opera and concert stages of Europe and the USA.
