Leonid Shoshyn

Acclaimed Tenor Soloist, Leonid Shoshyn, has performed for audiences across the world, with an extensive repertoire. Shoshyn is currently engaged with the Odessa National Opera, in Ukraine, where he has performed as a soloist since 2022. This year, Shoshyn also displays his artistry in the role of Prince Calaf in Puccini's "Turandot" at the Gulfshore Opera in Florida. Shoshyn's career has also extended to Germany in his time with the world-class Deutsche Oper Berlin. 

Shoshyn developed his skill and passion through extensive study as a student at Odessa College of Art & Culture (2010-2014), Odessa National Music Academy (2014-2019) and Akademia Operowa : Teatr Wielki Opera Narodowa (2017-2019). This has led him to sing the works of Puccini, Verdi, Zandonai, Leoncavallo and more throughout his career. In most recent years, he has toured with the companies of Hague National Opera and Ballet, Municipal Theater De Domijnen and Aalto Theater Essen.
