Jennifer Parker-Harley is on the faculty at the University of South Carolina School of Music. She brings her experience as an orchestral flutist, recitalist, chamber musician and pedagogue to her studio at USC. Born and raised in South Carolina, Jennifer graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy and holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music, Michigan State University and the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In the summers, she teaches at the National Music Festival in Chestertown, MD, and the Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan. She has also taught at summer festivals in Europe and South America. Jennifer was featured in a cover article in Flute Talk magazine (October, 2019) and is on the artist roster for Powell Flutes. She is also currently pursuing certification as a mindfulness teacher through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults which she will complete in 2024.
