Choral Singers

What you get

The Varna International Music Academy (VIMA) is offering numerous opportunities for Choral Singers in Summer 2022.

Join choirs from throughout the country on the breathtaking coast of The Grand Strand, in Myrtle Beach and Conway, South Carolina to sing in prestigious performances and receive world-class training under the tutelage of the Academy’s internationally renowned faculty.

NOTE: Choral singers are encouraged to apply for featured and supporting roles in the academy’s fully-staged operas. To be considered, please submit a video submission and resume with your application form.

All VIMA 2022 programs are eligible for academic credit through Coastal Carolina University. For more information, please email our office and we will put you in touch with the university's coordinator.


STABAT MATER, Rossini

July 2-14, 2022 $2900
(Arrival: July 1; Departure: July 15)

Inclusions

  • Perform in the chorus of Stabat Mater, Rossini. Performance will be part of Muzika! The Grand Strand Music Festival
  • Two voice lessons and two coaching
  • Vocal masterclasses
  • Italian language classes
  • Alexander Technique classes
  • Masterclass in movement, stage techniques, stage combat
  • Masterclass in contemporary dance techniques, acrobatics, and pantomime
  • 14 nights lodging at Coastal Carolina University residences (double occupancy)
  • Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily (7 days a week)
