What you get

The Varna International Music Academy (VIMA) offers a variety of options for the summer Comprimario Artists Program along the breathtaking shores of the Black Sea in Varna, Bulgaria. VIMA combines prestigious performance opportunities and world-class training under the tutelage of our internationally renowned faculty.

Participants accepted into the Comprimario Artists Program will enjoy feature or supporting roles in fully-staged opera productions (complete with a professional orchestra) and choral-orchestral concerts.

Participation in all tracks is available to singers of all ages.

NOTE: Participants may join other programs within their already paid weeks if does not conflict with their main assignment. Participants may also extend their program for an additional fee.

NOTE: Please be aware that all performances of Tales of Hoffmann and Die Fledermaus will be held at the Stara Zagora Opera House in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Preparations and rehearsals will begin in Varna. On June 7, 2020 we will move to Stara Zagora for the remainder of the academy.
